An original 1960’s chair with a chrome frama and unique steel seat, I was able to build up again from scratch. The maker has remained unknown, sadly, and also the old cushions weren’t available anymore – just a cover of which we couldn’t tell if this was original, though made from real 60’s orange canvas 😉

So bit by bit de-constructing and searching for the best approach.

And after all necessary cleaning, sanding and polishing re-constructed and upholstered with all sustainable and mostly natural materials, such as a beautifully rich hemp canvas.

Result: a unique piece of furniture that has a whole new lease on life, with a descendent of the original owner – and possible maker – true welth 🌱

WONDEROUS WINTER, DIFFERENT OPENING HOURS

Studio CRIN enjoys this White Winter World and has noticed the streets being really quiet in the morning.

Therefore we have adjusted hour opening hours: Thursday 8 and Friday 9 January Studio + Shop are open as off 12.30 hrs, just like Saturday. Then you are more than welcome at the Staringplein in Arnhem.
